Panoramic sea views, chic designer interiors and a glorious sense of relaxation awaits you at Avalon. This stunningly renovated house sits all on ground floor level, and is located right above the coastline in the peaceful village of Downderry - ideal for a special getaway for a couple of small family.
Offering expansive open plan living with contemporary styling including a tryptic log burner in the centre of the space, guests can enjoy their holiday retreat in luxury, with the sound of the waves just outside.
There are three bedrooms, the main being a spacious double with ensuite shower room, double doors out to the garden and sweeping sea views. The second has two bunk beds sleeping four, providing flexible accommodation for children and adults, and the third bedroom has a double bed with an en suite shower room.
The main family bathroom is a generous size and fully tiled, with a freestanding deep soak tub giving a sense of refined luxury.
The kitchen facilities are excellent, with all the facilities you would expect including two ovens and plenty of kitchen gadgets.
As well as the interior dining table which extends to seat six, there is also plenty of space to dine al fresco, with a bistro table for two up on the patio, and a larger table to seat six on the lawn below.
Located between Torpoint and Looe, guests will be walking distance from the local shop, café, restaurant and pub, and of course from the beach! With Downderry beach and village less than a quarter of a mile away to the east, and Seaton beach and valley less than a mile away to the west, there are plenty of lovely coastal walks straight from the door.
Within easy reach by car is the Rame Peninsula, or 'forgotten Cornwall', lovely to explore and often much quieter than the rest of the county even in high summer. The historic fishing town of Looe is only a short drive away, along with the stunning Fowey estuary, the picturesque cove of Polperro, and plenty of attractions to visit.

-The Artist's Studio in the grounds will not be occupied at the same time as Avalon Sea Views.

Absolutely amazing property with wonderful edge of the ocean views, delightful private outdoor space and equipped with everything necessary to make it a home from home. The large open plan dining / lounge area meant that we enjoyed evenings togethersee more
Absolutely amazing property with wonderful edge of the ocean views, delightful private outdoor space and equipped with everything necessary to make it a home from home. The large open plan dining / lounge area meant that we enjoyed evenings together as a family and the dog loved the space too. The owner was very helpful and friendly prior to arrival with information about local areas of interest and was so kind on departure when she allowed us an extended stay to sort out an issue with our onward travel arrangements. We all agree that we would return again and have no hesitation in recommending Avalon as a place to stay.

My wife and I have stayed at Avalon on many occasions. The property makes a wonderful base for exploring Cornwall. The facilities at Avalon are perfect, the owner provides all required for a self catering holiday. All rooms are very tastefully furnisee more

The facilities at Avalon are perfect, the owner provides all required for a self catering holiday. All rooms are very tastefully furnished, Sky TV on tap. Views from the garden are glorious. Local area has a choice Restaurants there is a lovely sandy beach for early morning, and evening strolls. If its peace, and quiet you want Downderry is the Perfect location. 🥰
