Downstairs, the property boasts a stylish and open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area, where guests can gather around the large dining table or relax on comfortable sofas beside the double-sided wood-burning stove. Large windows invite natural light to stream in, showcasing breath-taking countryside sea views. For those seeking a quiet moment, an additional sitting room provides the perfect space to unwind with a good book or enjoy a movie night.
The fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances and ample counter space. It includes a six-ring electric hob with a fan oven, a dishwasher, a large fridge, a separate freezer, and a larder. Gather around the dining table for memorable family dinners or plan your next adventure over morning coffee.
The home comfortably accommodates up to ten guests with five inviting bedrooms. All the beds are either king or queen size. Each room is tastefully decorated with coastal touches that echo the surrounding landscape. You’ll find one ground floor bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Upstairs, there are four spacious bedrooms: one with an ensuite bathroom, one with an ensuite shower room, and two that share the family bathroom.
Outside, a private garden provides a tranquil haven to unwind. The garden is perfect for outdoor entertaining, featuring a large undercover BBQ area and plenty of dining space, sheltered for all-weather enjoyment.
Ideally situated close to some of Cornwall's most picturesque beaches, St Eval School House is just a short drive from the family-friendly shores of Mawgan Porth and the scenic beauty of Porthcothan Bay. For golf enthusiasts, the nearby Trevose Golf and Country Club offers a championship course with stunning sea views and challenges for golfers of all levels.
The South West Coast Path provides endless opportunities for breathtaking coastal walks, while nearby Padstow invites you to discover its bustling harbour, famous for its seafood restaurants, including Rick Stein’s renowned eateries. Meander through charming streets filled with local shops, galleries, and cafes, or hop on a boat for a scenic trip around the estuary.
In addition to the main house, we also offer a luxury Shepherd’s Hut, perfect for 2 guests. Located in the landscaped garden, this charming retreat is available at £600 per week. It’s an ideal option for an additional couple seeking a peaceful, cosy getaway alongside the main property.
St Eval School House is well-suited for families and groups looking for a peaceful Cornish escape. Please note that we do not accommodate stag/hen groups, parties or large events. Although linen and towels are included, we do ask guests to bring their own beach towels.
