A perfect cottage for a family gathering

The setting was beautiful and the cottage perfect for our needs. All the ensuite bath/shower rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen spotless. The bedrooms were all of a good size and furnished wesee more
The setting was beautiful and the cottage perfect for our needs. All the ensuite bath/shower rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen spotless. The bedrooms were all of a good size and furnished well with plenty of cupboard space. The lounge and kitchen/diner accommodated the number easily. It was lovely to be greeted with bread, butter, milk, biscuits and wine on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses and saucepans. The cooker was great for so many. A huge bonus was the swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis table in a lovely area for little ones to play. The house manager, Sharon, and the owners we met were very friendly and accommodating.

The lightning in the lounge was quite bright some lamps would have softened it. Some large jugs for water and a measuring jug would have been useful and more table mats and coasters. Also a large chopping board. We would have found it helpful to see more

We would have found it helpful to sort out the recycling if we had separate bags or bins for each type, eg one for glass, one for cans, one for paper etc. We would have appreciated some more information in the file such as maps, places to visit etc.
