Wonderful location, so peaceful and pretty. En-suites with every bedroom meant a trouble free weekend! We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I will definitely book again.

Hot tub was fun once lit and warm Hosts were available when needed and very helpful and not overbearing. Thoroughly recommend this location for a walking holiday and quiet time away. Although we weren’t hassled, a 10am check out was too early for our group on a Sunday morning and the tone of the text to inform us of checkout, a little aggressive. We would love to return and enjoy the house and location, (this trip was to take part in the MacMillan Wye Valley Mighty Hike) and wish the hosts success with future bookings.

Lovely house with everything we needed, plenty of space, comfy beds, great HOT tub,BBQ and pizza oven. Plenty of places to go for long walks, swimming lake and lots of sheep, horses, cattle and wildlife to spot. Had a very relaxing time, didn't want to leave. Lovely and responsive owners when we had a problem with some of the lights(electrics) in the property. |

Some of the paintwork and blinds could do with some attention and a few cobwebs about, but it's a lovely old property and that's part of it's charm!

Had a wonderful stay with all the family. Great to all have our own bathrooms with great showers and bath facilities. So quiet and peaceful. The children liked the garden and the tree house. We used pizza oven and had a great barbecue. Some of us braved the cold and swam in the pond. Exhilarating they said! The hot tub was well used.Hrwat place for our family reunion. Nicola the host was very helpful. There is a rough track to house but worth the bumps. Located right on offa dyke path so beautiful walks on doorstep. The outside sink for washing off muddy boots a plus too.

Maybe some small cutting knives in kitchen. A brush and pan and broom would be useful. Also a washing machine wasn't mentioned in description but you had a whole laundry room , which was great.

Really lovely house, overlooking Offas Dyke path. Lots of owls, sheep below and horses in field above house. Plenty of space for dogs on site. Lovely warm kitchen well equipped with cafetiere, basics for washing up, and first night essentials. Great sitting room with huge open fireplace and lots of wood provided. Huge wood fired pizza oven on main patio with a large outside table, and large wood fired hot tub on bottom patio next to a bedroom. Plenty of wood and kindling supplied, heats up in a couple of hours, and retains heat overnight. A great hit. Massive boiler and the Aga kept the house warm in cold and drizzly weather.WiFi worked well. Lots of different levels in the house, and some very steep stairs and low lintels, so not suitable for very young children/ elderlythose planning on heavy drinking. Very comfortable beds, and good sized bathrooms.
