Description
Moelis Granary is one of North Wales' finest properties - its hillside location provides incredible views over the valley and no detail has been spared or luxury overlooked with the furnishings. There is a private hot tub for ultimate relaxation, making this an excellent choice for your next getaway.
Guests will be greeted by the stunning stone exterior as they pull up to the property and benefit from the private, off-road parking in front of the cottage (with EV charger for those with electric vehicles). The traditional farmhouse kitchen is a wonderful place for families and small groups of friends to catch up and it comes kitted out with all the amenities guests would need to cook up a feast including a state of the art induction hob. There's a handy boiling water tap, dishwasher and washing machine too.
There are three large bedrooms, two with a luxurious king sized bed (one of which can at request can also be made into a twin) and another twin room, all of which are en-suite with luxurious tiled bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own flat-screen, smart TV for lazy lie-ins.
The living room provides a cosy retreat, even in the winter months with its log burning stove and comfy sofas.
Outside, there is wrap-around gardens, the icing on the cake being the incredible terrace with garden furniture which overlooks the valley below. It's the perfect spot from which to enjoy a breakfast, family lunch or a glass of wine of an evening. Around the other side is the giant chess set which can provide a little mental stimulation while on holiday!
Please note that while two bedrooms are on the ground floor, there are steps between most of the rooms as the traditional cottage is set into the hillside.

Regrettably there are no pets permitted at Moelis Granary.
EV charging point carries an additional fee for all bookings from Jan 2023 onwards.
Hot tub and BBQ carry an additional fee if required during the stay payable to the owner in cash upon arrival.

The host (Caroline) was very friendly and helpful and gave us some good directions for a walk up to the Megalithic stone circle above the farm. The setting itself is well decorated, the bathrooms modern and clean and the beds were very comfortable! Tsee more

We made good use of the hot tub and watched the stars for quite a while in the evenings. It’s obvious that a great deal of thought has gone into the Granary - would definitely recommend!

Beautiful property!! Absolutely spotless when we arrived. Cleanest place we have stayed in. It’s quite small but somehow there is lots of space for 6. Friendly hosts and gorgeous surroundings. Lots of games and things to do in the house. Highly recomsee more

Lots of games and things to do in the house. Highly recommended!! We did struggle getting the wood fired hot tub to heat up, you have to be vigilant feeding the wood, and it took us 4 hours overall. Suggest bringing kindling if you book this property! We also had to pay £50 in cash, which you might not have if you’re travelling from overseas - we did not bring U.K. £ it would be better to add this cost to the listing). This was a very minor issue, otherwise we had a fabulous time. Thank you, Caroline!

What a stunning place to stay in a beautiful location. The house was lush, well furnished and cozy and theres nothing like staring into the valley while sitting in the wood fired hot tub. The host family were lovely to talk to and insightful and helped us feel well at home.

Caroline and Laurence are very responsive and great hosts overall. We had small issues that were outside of their control and even then they were very helpful and made themselves available at any time. The Ganary has been recently refurbished with great taste, perfect for a family retreatto go with a group of friends. Would 100% recommend and we are even thinking about booking it again.
