Description
Two Storrs Cottage is a 400 year old, former quarry-worker's cottage located in the popular village of Ingleton on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage perfectly mixes the characterful old features with up to date fixtures and fittings and has some beautiful views out over the dales from the rear of the property.
The cottage is pet-friendly and is an ideal base from which to explore the popular tourist destination of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Just off the entrance hallway - which has ample hooks and racks for coats and muddy boots - can be found the siting room. And what a room it is! The old wood beams and log burner make a wonderful feature and a cosy place to put the feet up even in the Autumn and Winter months. Off the living room leads the galley kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has all the amenities to cook up a feast during your self-catering stay and has a handy dishwasher and washing machine too.
Both the bedrooms and the bathroom can be found upstairs. The master bedroom has a double bed while the second bedroom has a single bed with pull-out truckle bed underneath. The bathroom has a separate bath and walk-in shower.
To the rear of the cottage is the south-facing patio and garden area which has some wonderful views out towards the hills. It's a lovely spot from which to relax with a glass of wine in the summer months.
Two Storrs Cottage is located in the village of Ingleton which is surrounded by magnificent countryside with caves, waterfalls, and mountains. The Craven Fault crosses the area and geological and archaeological sites are plenty. Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Ingleton is an ideal holiday destination for outdoor activities or just relaxing in tranquil countryside. It is also an excellent touring centre with the Lake District, north-west coast and Forest of Bowland only a day-trip away. Guests will be spoilt for choice for things to do nearby such as The Waterfalls Trail, Ribblehead Viaduct, Ingleton Pottery, White Scar Caves and much more.

Cottage is lovely and very cosy everything required for a relaxing stay.
We stayed Monday-Friday cafes and shops tend to be shut at the beginning of the week. Good location for visiting nearby places Kirby Longsdale, Settle and Hawes.

I would suggest having padding under the bathroom door as my husband bashed his head on a number of occasions.
