Meadow View is the perfect property for families and groups of friends looking for a peaceful rural retreat in the Derbyshire countryside.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob, double oven and dishwasher, and there is a separate utility room with a washing machine.
A twin bedroom on the ground floor with separate bathroom is adapted for wheelchair access and for those with limited mobility. There are three further double bedrooms (two with ensuite shower rooms) and three twin rooms with an additional bathroom and shower room.
One of the property’s most popular features is the large games room furnished with a pool table, football table and table tennis table along with a wide variety of board games and a TV.
A spacious terrace with garden furniture and barbecue to the rear of the property has stunning views.
Guests also have the option of enjoying a hot tub during their stay, which can be added as an optional extra at the time of booking. Guests will need to pay this directly to the owners of the property through a payment link before arrival. Hot tub charges for a short stay total £200, with a weekly stay charged at £250.

It would have been nicer if there was a fence/trellis between us and the next property, so that we weren’t intruding on each other’s space. Some shower spaces could be updated.

Negatives - we were told check-in instructions were going to be sent 2 days prior to arrival but they weren’t sent until I sent a message on the day of arrival with a very slow response time. In addition to this I messaged twice regarding late check-see more

In addition to this I messaged twice regarding late check-out and received no response. Lastly, the bedroom downstairs next to the front door has a staff entrance inside, this was opened on the day of checkout by a male at 9:15am (45 minutes before checkout) whilst 2 females were inside dressed in only towels. This was unacceptable, the male worker stayed “he didn’t realise we hadn’t checked out yet” despite the fact all of our cars were still there. - not ok!

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad the property exceeded the expectations. Generally the access information is sent out via email 48 hours before guests arrival. Sometimes it can fall into the spam folder which means the email can be missed. We are very sorry you had to chase for the access information. We do try to be as responsive as possible with our messages but we do manage a lot of properties/messages on a daily basis. If any guest is needing an urgent response we would encourage them to call us up. Out of office hour we only have an emergency team on which means non urgent message can not be replied to as quickly as they can during a weekday. WE again apologise for a delay in response. We will speak with the housekeeper to ensure this does not happen again. Overall, we do hope you enjoyed your stay & would love to welcome you back. |
