Nestled in the heart of Herefordshire’s beautiful countryside, Windmill View offers a serene retreat surrounded by natural beauty. With countryside walks just outside your door, stunning valley vistas, and opportunities for canoeing and fishing on the nearby Rive Wye, it’s an ideal retreat.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A spare fold-up chair is also provided. The living room features two sofas – one of which converts into a double sofa bed – along with a TV/DVD player and a cosy electric fireplace. Floor to ceiling winoes frame sweeping view of livery fields and Fownhope Valley, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the landscape. If you plan to use the sofa bed, please ensure your booking reflects the correct party size so that appropriate bedding can be provided.
The master bedroom features a walk-in0wardrobe, an en-suite shower room, and a dressing table with a mirror. The twin bedroom includes bedside cabinets and ample storage space. A family bathroom is conveniently located just across the hall. Please note that bath sheets are not provided, so guests are provided to bring their own.
Step outside onto your own private deck, complete with comfortable seating and a BBQ – perfect for alfresco dining or relaxing with a view. The enclsed grounds provide a safe area for children to play and you’ll often spot horses in the nearby paddocks who many welcome a friendly nose rub.
We’re happy to welcome dogs, they are permitted for an additional fee of £20 per dog, per stay.
