Welcome to No. 10 Porthmeor, Harlequins Apartments. A comfortable 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of St Ives. Close to the stunning Porthminster Beach, and only a few sandy steps away from the town centre, harbour and St Ives scenic railway.
Porthmeor apartment caters for up to 4 guests in an en-suite double room with bath and further twin bedroom. The family bathroom offers shower, basin and WC. A large kitchen features modern appliances including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, cooker top, microwave, toaster, kettle and washer/dryer, as well as a 4-seater table and chairs.
A perfectly placed dining table in the lounge allows you to soak up the mesmerising views across the bay, to the golden sands of Gwithian and beyond. Choose to sink into the comfortable sofa in the lounge or curl up with a book in the armchair snug room.
St Ives is a traditional Cornish fishing village with a plethora of restaurants, served daily by fishing boats from its working harbour. Its pretty cobbled streets are perfect for exploring to look for that unique gift in one of its many independent shops or grab a freshly brewed coffee or sourdough loaf from an array of artisan bakeries and cafes. Perhaps visit one of the many galleries for which St Ives is famous for, the Tate gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, where you’ll find an everchanging array of exhibitions.
The apartment has parking for one car, although it is located only 650m from the train station. This makes exploring the surrounding area extremely accessible, with day trips to the majestic St Micheals Mount, or the Minack Theatre, which is cut into the edge of the Cornish cliffs.
The apartment has a car parking space to the left of the building and there are picnic benches located on an outside terrace. The apartment is accessed by stairs, and they may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.

According to Booking.com, check-in is between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. The phone number we were supposed to call was no longer manned, although we were already there at 7 p.m. According to the phone message, we had to dial the emergency number. That's diffisee more

That's difficult if you don't have anything to write right away. Apparently we should have received an email..... Access is difficult with luggage, as there are steep stairs in the house. The apartment is spacious, the bedrooms and bathrooms are too small, no storage space. With two bathrooms, we actually expected two shower options, but one bathroom had a bathtub but no shower head. Overall, the apartment smelled very damp, so that a certain basement smell clung to your clothes over time🥴. The apartment looked very worn compared to the pictures. The only room that had been renovated was the kitchen. Overall, the price for the service was much too high

It was close enough to the beaches and the main touristy areas but still in a residential area. The host had provided everything and the apartment was very clean when we reached. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

the apartment was in a lovely location with stunning views. Quite a hilly walk to and back from the town bug needed to burn a few calories off after all the cream teas and pasties.
