Sunnycroft Penthouse, and named as such, is a stunning top floor apartment in the town of Llandrindod Wells. Boasting beautiful views in this historic spa town, once famed for its ‘healing waters’, find the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding areas, whilst heading back to relaxation and comfort in this delightful, fully renovated apartment.
Making your way up the steps to the apartment, upon entering you are welcomed in by the open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The kitchen comes equipped for everything you should need for your catering needs, yet on the doorstep there’s a vast choice of cuisines should you wish to have delivered or eat out! Windows on both sides allow plentiful light in, with both the sunrise and sunsets gracing the room throughout the day.
The bedroom sits to the rear of the apartment, with a luxurious, comfortable double bed and additional seating area.
Llandrindod Lake is literally a 5 minute walk, where you can feed ducks, take to the waters on a boat, grab a bite to eat at the café or embark on the good variety of hiking and walking trails on offer. The area is centrally located in the stunning Mid Wales countryside and is perfect for walking and cycling, with country walks directly from your apartment, the area is renowned for its rolling hills and valleys.
Anyone with an interest in history will surely enjoy the National Cycle Museum or brush up on the local heritage at the Radnorshire Museum and The Rock Park & Heritage Centre.
Builth Wells, famed for its well-known Royal Welsh Showground which frequently holds live events throughout the year is only 7 miles away, the Elan Valley is approximately 10 miles away, where there are plenty of walk and cycle trails to explore, along with fabulous dams.
For those of you who have brought their clubs, there is both the fantastic Llandrindod Wells Golf Club and the Builth Wells Golf Club with onsite pro shop for picking up any golf essentials.

Super luxury apartment that was in an interesting old building. Really nice to see some of the original features kept and combined with really lovely furnishings. Thoughtful extras like hot water bottles.

Close walking distance from a lovely walk around the lake. Best to have a car - the nearby towns of Builth and Rhayader are lovely, as is the drive up and around the three dams.

We loved the accommodation. Check in was super easy, excellent location only 2 minute walk from the beautiful lake with excellent cafe. Brilliant for bird watching. The apartment was very spacious and impeccable taste. Loved the theme of the birds thsee more

Great place to stay! The hosts did an amazing job renovating the place wich still has a vintage look while beautifully decorated and comfy. We stayed for nearly a week in December-January and it was a bit cold inside but there were really soft warm bsee more

We stayed for nearly a week in December-January and it was a bit cold inside but there were really soft warm blankets and everything you could need from a washing-machine to a cocktail book to a hangover cookbook and books about Welsh folklore. We would definitely recommend the place for a little retreat with your significant other.
