Located on the second floor of the building, the apartment is open plan, offering a bright, spacious and airy living, dining and kitchen space. With a wall mounted flat screen TV, comfy sofas, and a selection of board games, the living area is perfect for relaxed family fun after a day at the beach.
The kitchen is stylish and excellently equipped, providing a full oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave kettle and toaster, and even a Nespresso machine, for that perfect morning coffee whilst you make plans for the day.
The master bedroom has lovely decor, with a king-size bed, plenty of storage and thoughtful touches like a hairdryer, clock radio and hangers in the wardrobe. There is an en-suite shower room with mains shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
In the second bedroom, there is ample space with two full size single beds which can be zip-linked together to make a super-king bed should it be required.
The main family bathroom is very smart and contemporary, with a bath with shower over, toilet, basin, heated towel rail and a back-lit mirror to give a real luxury feel.
Whilst the seaside town of Filey is famous for a great day at the beach, there are various other attractions in the local area that will leave you spoilt for choice with where to explore first.
Glen Gardens is within easy walking distance less than a mile away, and offers beautiful parkland and gardens to explore, adventure golf and stunning views out over the coast. If you take your golf a little more seriously, Filey Golf Club is very nearby, just a little further on from Glen Gardens.
For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, why not make your way down to the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast for a spot of spectacular bird watching at the Bempton Cliffs. An established nesting spot from March – October, over 200,000 Puffins, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Guillemots take to the ledges of the white chalk cliffs almost 400ft up from sea level.
The larger town of Scarborough is also only roughly a 20 minute drive away and offers lots more to see and do. The owners have thought of everything you could need in the apartment - plenty of choice of cooking utensils, board games, good quality furnishings and bed linen. 2 functional bathrooms - a bath is always a bonus (thank you), as is an en suite for the main bedroom. There is plenty of storage for suitcases etc which lets you keep floor space to a maximum. The addition of a travel cot and highchair was very welcomed too. Additionally, arriving earlier than planned, I had good communication with the owner who let us enter the property early. Thank you

In our party, 2 adults were in the twin bed room and this was difficult as the beds are very small (perhaps child size) and this caused difficulties with sleep - not much room to turnover and turning over in the night meant that you see more

In our party, 2 adults were in the twin bed room and this was difficult as the beds are very small (perhaps child size) and this caused difficulties with sleep - not much room to turnover and turning over in the night meant that you rested on the window frame/wall. We understand why this is - to make the best use of space but this might be worth mentioning when booking for other adult parties. Our apartment was on the top floor and inevitably, this is a struggle when moving luggage to and from the car park. The stairs were light and immaculately clean however, 2 of our party are disabled another pregnant and the other a 16month old so maybe expectations should be shared from the onset. We did manage but were perhaps more anxious about leaving the apartment on time than other able bodied people would be. |

Plenty of room for two couples (two bathrooms) sofa and dining area perfect. Will definitely be back as we love the central location which is near to all amenities and the sea. The apartments are a home from home with everything you need. Good quality bedding towels and linen. Very clean not only in the apartment but also all communal areas. |

The apartment was beautifully presented, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lots of thoughtful touches and good quality bed linens, towels etc. Great parking facility. Wished we could have stayed longer. Brilliant location for exploring the beautifusee more

Couple of very minor points. Water to bath could have been hotter although we appreciate it’ll be on a regulated thermostat for safety.
Kitchen cupboard door hits fridge when opening and could easily be damaged which would be a shame.

The apartment was very well furnished and decorated. We enjoyed having a TV in our bedroom. When the dishwasher was broken, Finest Retreats organised for it to be fixed very quickly. The apartment was close to the beach and it was lovely to walk arousee more

There was no mattress cover on the bed, which made the bed slightly less comfortable. It was a bit too warm because the thermostat wasn’t working properly. We turned the heating off though, so it wasn’t a big deal.

Apartment was spotless with great facilities and excellent location. Lovely wee shampoo, conditioners and shower gels left in both bathrooms like you get in a hotel.
Also tea,coffee, washing tablets washing powder , toilet roll and and a milk see more

Nothing really. A few minor issues: bedside lamp didn't work properly in double bedroom and twin room main light didn't function at the switch. Also, right hand side of toaster didn't function.
