The master bedroom has lovely decor, with a king-size bed, plenty of storage and thoughtful touches like a hairdryer, clock radio and hangers in the wardrobe. There is an en-suite shower room with mains shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
In the second bedroom, there are two full size single beds, and ample storage.

Whilst the seaside town of Filey is famous for a great day at the beach, there are various other attractions in the local area that will leave you spoilt for choice with where to explore first.
Glen Gardens is within easy walking distance less than a mile away, and offers beautiful parkland and gardens to explore, adventure golf and stunning views out over the coast. If you take your golf a little more seriously, Filey Golf Club is very nearby, just a little further on from Glen Gardens.
For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, why not make your way down to the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast for a spot of spectacular bird watching at the Bempton Cliffs. An established nesting spot from March – October, over 200,000 Puffins, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Guillemots take to the ledges of the white chalk cliffs almost 400ft up from sea level.
The larger town of Scarborough is also only roughly a 20 minute drive away and offers lots more to see and do. 1. Security we felt was an issue. The main entrance door did not have a spring to ensure door was closed. On six occasions we found the door open. Security is important for the owner and for the guests and this situation negates the other security mesee more

2. In the main bedroom the corner of the bed frame was an obstruction when walking to the other side of the bed. Very painful when catching it with the knee and shin.We had to cover the frame corner with a towel. |

The kitchen is very modern and has every gadget & cooking utensil possible. Location is perfect with the beach & lovely restaurants a few minutes walk away. Onsite parking was a bonus as we didn’t need to use the car all week. The train station & bus station are also a few minutes walk away, with a very regular service to Bridlington & Scarborough. Looking forward to going again later In the year. Thank you Finest Retreats, for once again a very pleasant holiday.

The stairs could be an issue for those less mobile as there wasn't a lift. There are two ground floor apartments but they allow dogs so were unsuitable for us. The fridge wasn't easy to access and maybe the door could be hinged on the opposite side. see more

The main double bed was a little hard for us but we added the spare duvet under and it helped. Maybe a mattress topper would be a good idea. The car parking space was a squeeze as it's near a fence but it wouldn't put me off booking again, we just gosee more

learned from last time didn't need to take anything,
tea/coffee/sugar supplied so no rush to shops, which are close, parked the car in reserved space only moved it when we left.

I couldn’t praise the Belle House apartment enough - it was just so cosy and well equipped even down to the small things like dishwasher tablets ,sugar and tea. I could quite happily live there!

The apartments are in a great position so close to the sea and in the middle of the towns shops. The accommodation was spotless. Lovely rooms and the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfy and having an en suite shower room as well see more

Lots ! clean, modern, EVERYTHING you needed was there, facility wise. Really properly thought out in every area. Great coffee machine and some pods available. All kitchen goods that you could wish for. YEAH a mirror near a hairdryer area and plug...Good TV, Free WiFi. Free parking spot. Handy for shops, pubs and food. Definitely would stay there again... these are superb apartments. You will not be disappointed. Have shared the details of them on my social media accounts.

We liked everything, however just a few observations, toilet seats in both bathrooms were Wonky (LOL). Double bed, you kept clacking your legs on the end as you past it as the quilt hid the jutting out bit, there were a few ouches...tee hee....When usee more

Double bed, you kept clacking your legs on the end as you past it as the quilt hid the jutting out bit, there were a few ouches...tee hee....When using the toaster the smoke alarm right over kitchen area went off, as it would I guess, as did 3 other flats in the same morning ! Maybe just mark on the toaster the place to slide the dial to avoid that. Key to get into main door was an issue as with other apartments when we chatted, really difficult to get in with, but you can use the keypad to get in but take a note of the number so you don't forget 😉

Nice apartment, high standard, good location if you want to stay in the Filey area. If you want to go for days out to places like Whitbyon the North Yorkshire moors you might be better off in a different location to avoid lots of travelling. Also doublecheck the price before you book because we got caught out when the price changed from £107 per night to £187 and we didn’t realise until the booking was confirmed. Despite contacting the company within five minutes it took several attempts before we got a satisfactory explanation and and there was no flexibility to cancel. In the end we had to go anyway since we had paid a lot for the apartment and enjoyed our stay of four nights, but generally feels expensive. If you are going as two couples and splitting the cost then it’s probably better value.
