The bedroom has lovely decor, with a king-size bed, plenty of storage and thoughtful touches like a hairdryer, clock radio and hangers in the wardrobe. With a second television on the wall in here too, it’s the ideal set-up for a holiday lie-in!
The bathroom is very smart and contemporary, with a bath with mains shower over, toilet, basin, heated towel rail and a back-lit mirror to give a real luxury feel.
Whilst the seaside town of Filey is famous for a great day at the beach, there are various other attractions in the local area that will leave you spoilt for choice with where to explore first.
Glen Gardens is within easy walking distance less than a mile away, and offers beautiful parkland and gardens to explore, adventure golf and stunning views out over the coast. If you take your golf a little more seriously, Filey Golf Club is very nearby, just a little further on from Glen Gardens.
For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, why not make your way down to the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast for a spot of spectacular bird watching at the Bempton Cliffs. An established nesting spot from March – October, over 200,000 Puffins, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Guillemots take to the ledges of the white chalk cliffs almost 400ft up from sea level.
The larger town of Scarborough is also only roughly a 20 minute drive away and offers lots more to see and do. I loved the fact it was central and self contained. It had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was very comfy and the shower was excellent.

Firstly we would like to praise the 2 Emmas. The office Emma for being so kind and helpful and the cleaning lady Emma who had prepared the apartment to the highest standard and also helped us when we set the alarm off with the toaster!

The apartment is bright, modern, warm and welcoming with good quality furnishings and linens. We loved having the shower gel and shampoo sachets and a couple of dishwasher and washing machine tabs - very unexpected. Being in the town is very convenient and having a dedicated parking spot is fantastic. Although the apartment is in one of the main streets it isn't noisy - apart from the seagulls! The road was extremely quiet after about 7.30. We have stayed in Filey several times and the local shops are good and the people friendly. We definitely recommend this apartment, so much so that we are returning for Christmas. |

A bit short of crockery and cutlery, although this is a 2 person apartment having only 4 plates, 4 sets of cutlery seems a bit short sighted. You end up washing things in order to have enough for dinner. An extra set or 2 would help or some mid size plates. Only 1 saucepan as well. Otherwise well equipped for cooking. |

The doors throughout the whole apartment block are heavy & make a very loud noise when coming and going, so depending on your neighbours they can disturb sleep etc (assume these are fire doors & required but just incase)
