Parking was difficult, but it was Whitby in Summer after all. Bit of an issue with a bedroom key but it was quickly resolved when the owner was notified.

Whitby is een gezellige plaats met veel toeristen. Prima busverbindingen naar Scarborough en Middlesbrough. Robin Hoods Bay is een mooi kustplaatsje.

Loved the location of this apartment, being just a stone's throw from both the train & bus stations, and a short walk either along to the West Cliff or down into the main town. It's also beautifully decorated & very clean. It had all the amenities webekijk meer

Introduce recycling boxes or bins for guests to use - we have stayed in Whitby on 4 separate occasions & have never found this at any of our accommodations.

Have a look at the shower & it's knobs. It was really difficult to turn on in the first place. It required 2 hands to turn the knob for the water flow & there did not appear to be any ability to adequately turn down the temperature to one which would be less hot, especially for young children. All 3 of us encountered these difficulties. Curtains would be good too, as the shutters don't keep the daylight out once the sun rises. The steep internal stairs from the main road into the property could make for difficult access for some. I didn't notice any mention of that when booking, and had I brought my Mum with me, that would have been very problematic. None of the above would stop us staying here again, in a heartbeat. It's the best place we've stayed in in Whitby to date. |
